Legend(from Jerry Ma)

Well, it's fucking Kickstarter season. And since I'm a part of three(get ready for some Ken promoting there, guys), up first is Legend, from Jerry Ma. Check out his Kickstarter page here.

Since you kids love stretch goals so fucking much, Jerry had asked if I could do a drawing of character(s) from the book. When I asked what he'd like me to do(as I always try to be #helpfulken), Jerry said something along the lines of "blah blah well there's also gonna be Walt Simonson, Geoff Darrow, Cliff Chiang, Bernard Chang, Andy MacDonald, and Glenn Urieta blah blah I don't think anyone is gonna notice your nonsense blah blah". Well, that's what I heard anyway....sheeesh no pressure huh?

Step one was, well, rereading Legend(spoiler alert:it's very good). Next, coming up with an idea...

Without giving away too much of the plot, I'm hoping that the word balloon indicates that she is not there to cheer the heroes up. I tried, using newspaper, oil bars, white paint, and my pal the razorblade, to get an effect that she's kind of materializing in front of someone's path.

If you haven't already, GO TO THE KICKSTARTER PAGE AND DO KICKSTARTER THINGS GODDAMN IT. The comic is very cool, and I know I'm looking forward to seeing where Jerry plans on taking this story.
