Story telling event

Thanks to a film festival meet and greet that I went to here in Charlotte last year, I was invited to participate in this year's Sensoria event at the Central Piedmont Community College.

What I was going to be a part of was really fucking cool. Four current students were going to talk for 5-7 minutes and tell the auditorium their story. How they got to the school. What they wanted to do next. And what drove them to this point in their lives.

Owen(a faculty member at CpCC) challenged me to draw them. While they told their stories.

And did they had stories. Each of them have faced amazing life challenges.

And each of them has an equally strong focus in facing what comes next.

These are the drawings that I completed for each of the four students. And they all were really happy that they got to keep them once the event wrapped up(and I was equally happy to give the drawings to them!).

This was an amazing experience, and I am incredibly fortunate to have been included. I'm really looking forward to see what they all do next.
